Then -

      Now -

      After Central;

        I went to UL Speed Scientific School with Ken Fischer and Tom Fuchs.
        Thanks Ken and Tom for pulling me through the first year (I was freaking out).
        I love you guys!

        I partied a lot in college and am very fortunate to have graduated with my Master
        of Engineering in Civil Engineering. Some think I really fooled them there! I took
        a job in Nashville, TN, in 1985 practicing geotechnical engineering (huh?). I moved
        back to Louisville in 1990, with the same company and received my Professional
        Engineer registration (I am currently a PE in 6 states). I moved to Cincinnati in 1995,
        to start a geotechnical engineering business for the same company. I returned to
        Louisville for good in 1997, but left my long time employer in 2003.

      Now I'm;

        I work for the US Army Corps of Engineers where I am a Project Engineer with a
        nationwide mission to restore aging US Army Reserve training centers. I made the
        change for 2 reasons, with all of the crap going on in the world I thought I could use
        my experience to contribute to the cause since I was never in the military and
        second, in the consulting business "You are only as good as your last time sheet".
        Seniority means nothing.

        I have always had a rough time with women. I have been married 3x and divorced
        twice. I have been with Allison since 1994, and we were married in 1998. We have
        a wonderful daughter, who was born on November 14, 2001. We are doing very well.
        Kids are so cool.

      Memorable CHS Moments;

        We really had an amazing class. Thrown together by busing, we made the very best of it.
        It was a very special time in my life I am very proud to have been a part of it. The reason
        it is so special to me is that it represents my youth, my passage to adulthood. Kind of like
        losing something you can't get it back. High school is a bittersweet memory now really,
        but I wouldn't have changed anything.

        In closing, I wish all of our alumni continued success, success in trusting in the things
        that makes the biggest difference in your life, yourself, your family, and close friends.
