Then -

      Now -

      After Central;

        I ambled around for about a year not knowing what I wanted to do with my life.
        I tried working production at Jones Plastics and found that I had a knack for
        mechanical things. I pursued an apprenticeship the machine shop trade. Finished
        my tooling apprenticeship 1983. I got married to a girl that I dated for about 6 years
        and the marriage didn't last as long at the dating (lasted 4 years). In 1988 I was
        fortunate to marry the woman that I am with now. We have three children (two by
        her previous marriage that I adopted and one by our union) and two grandchildren.
        Yes I am a grandfather....I'm sure that I am not the only one out there :-)

      Now I'm;

        Now with Philip-Morris in Va. I joined PM in 1990 in Louisville as a maintenance
        machinist in the cutter shop. I was there until Dec '99 and then moved to Richmond
        as the Louisville plant was closing. I am still a maintenance machinist and work in
        the R&D group where I can do both maintenance and the trade I apprenticed under.

      Memorable CHS Moments;

        WOW what a question. It's all a blur right now and such a long time....I mean I HAVE
        slept since then. It was all good. I graduated in Nov of '77 and I think that was a BIG
        mistake, should have stayed the whole time. Ahhh miss what we never had even
        though I miss my hair and I KNOW I had that.
