Then -
LOL - tortured try at the brooding look...
Now -
Found smile, lost hair. If you see it anywhere, let me know... ;^)
After Central;
Left U of L as a Sociology major 1980, having already rejected Sciences. Started
telemarketing agency Advertising Alternatives in 1982 / moved to Cincinnati 1985 /
married 1985, dissolved 1990, no children. Started Carrier Collection Service 1989,
left that in 2000 for the security blanket of collections at a major bankcorp.
Now I'm;
Financially stable, no complaints. Relocating to Albuquerque when my house finally
sells - how can you not like the incredible scenery out there, like this shot below of
Monument Valley, UT
For fun: guitar, lots of websurfing, building the wayward website here & there...
I write a lot on the Internet, political forums & one of my favorite team - Cowboys fan
since about 9. Cards basketball fan also, still don't like the way Denny was forced
out.
I have some more stuff posted from the past / see the "More Then" link at bottom.
Memorable CHS Moments;
Lunchtimes in the parking lot with all the smokers
Finding out Jill Anderson was moving to NC - stake in the heart. Though to her I was
just a pal.
Pulling a "wheelie" with Cathy Bradshaw on the back of my Suzuki 185, and nearly
dumping her on the parking lot concrete in the process. She was such a trooper about it,
no complaint at all. But I was being way too careless.
St. Patrick's lip-lock with Kim Boyce
(thank you to whomever gave her that silly button...)
Bruce B. - my best friend circa JHS, yet a distance at Central that I regret.
Pre-Central / Fall 1975:
Taking my Honda SL 100 trail bike from Lyndon to Jenny Baker's house off Tucker Station Rd,
right down Shelbyville Rd with no motorcycle license & a fake license plate. Trying to salvage
the couple weeks we were paired off which I found a way to botch. It was urgent at the time...
In the 1970's I was best friends with Eric Edwardson, Jenny's EHS classmate which is how I met her.
He got bussed to Central the year prior to us, and told me CHS was much better than he expected.
I wasn't thrilled with Westport, so even though last names beginning "G" were not assigned to go,
I volunteered. Meeting that cross section of Class of '78 from all over Louisville was terrific.
